This modified version corrects the contents of the 06/04/18 version and the 05/12/16 and 05/12/19 versions, and also corrects the following problems.
- One Japanese translation of Chinese Proficiency Test 3 & 4 has been corrected.
06/04/18 version
This revised version corrects the information distributed in the 05/12/16 and 05/12/19 versions, and also corrects the following phenomena.
- Programmed correction was made to the part of Chinese Proficiency Test 3 & 4 that does not pronounce "sturdy".
05/12/19 version
This revised version corrects the information distributed in the 05/12/16 version and addresses the following issues.
- Corresponded to the symptom that a runtime error occurs when the intonation conversion is restarted after exiting with the intonation conversion minimized.
05/12/16 version
This revised version includes the following fixes to address the following phenomena
- It takes a long time to start intonation conversion. Some users were experiencing a phenomenon in which the sound recorder became unusable after using inflection conversion. Fixes have been made to address this phenomenon.
- Shortened the startup time of the intonation conversion preferences.
- Fixed a bug that caused a freeze when inputting a sound that is different from the original sound.
- Corrected some data errors in inflection conversion.
- Corrected some data errors in Chinese Proficiency Test 3 & 4.
In addition to the correction of ChineseWriter8 MASTER, there is also a corrected version of ChineseWriter8. If you have not yet corrected the data in ChineseWriter8, please install the corrected version of ChineseWriter8.

How to download and install
ChineseWriter8 MASTER - How to install and use the corrected version
For those who have installed the modified module of "06/04/18 version" (or "05/12/19 version" or "05/12/16 version")
If you have already installed the "06/04/18 version" (or "05/12/19 version" or "05/12/16 version") using the correction module "cw8m.exe", please perform the following operations before applying this correction module and then install the 06/04/18 version (or "05/12/19 version" or "05/12/16 version") again. 05/12/16") by doing the following operations before applying this correction module.
- Click [Start] - [Control Panel] - [Add or Remove Programs
- Click "ChineseWriter8 MASTER Update" from the list of program names displayed.
- Click the [Change/Remove] button to uninstall (remove) the program.
After uninstalling the update, install it using the latest version of the correction module.

- Click [Start Download] of "ChineseWriter8 MASTER - Change and Correction File" at the back of this page.
- Set the download destination to your desktop or a folder "My Documents" where you can easily find it later.
Download the file to your computer and save it. Do not run the program or open the file without downloading it.
- Do not change the file name, which is initially " ;cw8m.exe".
- When " ;cw8m.exe" has finished downloading, close the screen and exit your browser (Internet Explorer, etc.).
- Go to the folder where you saved the downloaded file.
*If you downloaded the file to the desktop, it is located on the desktop.
- Double-click " ;cw8m.exe" directly. The ChineseWriter8 MASTER - Change and Correction File installer will start. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.
