  • Windows Vista is now supported.
  • Korean input is now possible with KoreanWriterV6(KS), an IME for KS code, when inputting forms in Internet Explorer 7 on Windows Vista and Windows XP.
    Due to security specifications, when using KoreanWriterV6(KS) in Internet Explorer 7, words cannot be registered in the conversion dictionary. Words that have been registered in the conversion dictionary using another application such as Wordpad can be used for conversion.

How to download and install

After uninstalling, install the latest version of the modified module.

KoreanWriterV6 - How to Install and Use the Modified Version

  1. Click " Start Download" of "KoreanWriterV6 - Modification files" at the back of this page.

  2. Set the download destination to your desktop or a folder "My Documents" where you can easily find it later.
    Download the file to your computer and save it. Do not execute the file or open the file without downloading it.

  3. Do not change the file name, which is initially &QUOT ;kwv6up.exe".
    The file is an executable file that can be installed directly.

  4. When &QUOT ;kwv6up.exe" has finished downloading, close the page and exit your browser.

  5. Go to the folder where you saved the downloaded file.
    *If you downloaded the file to your desktop, it is located on your desktop.

  6. Double-click &QUOT ;kwv6up.exe" directly.
    A confirmation dialog may appear immediately after double-clicking kwv6up.exe depending on your OS and security software settings, etc. Click "Run" to continue.

  7. KoreanWriterV6 - Change and Correction File installer will be launched. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.
    After the installer starts, click [Next], [Install], and then [Finish].

Move the mouse cursor over the [Start Download] text link and click to start downloading.
