How to download and install

Downloading

06/04/19 version
This modified version includes the modification of the contents distributed in the 05/07/29 version and the modification corresponding to the following phenomena.

• The phenomenon that an error is displayed when exiting Ichitaro after using IME (ChineseWriterLT) in Ichitaro 2006 has been addressed.
• Fixed a problem that garbage is attached when translating Unicode text in batch translation.
• Addressed a phenomenon in which the translation of a table in a text box becomes incorrect when performing a whole translation of a sentence in which a table exists in a text box in the Word Add-In.
• Products installed on the initial production CD contained an error in the description of "Batch Dictionary Registration" in the help file. The help file is rewritten to the corrected version in this revised module.

Version 05/07/29
This revised version includes the following fixes to address the following phenomena

• Support for Chinese pages written in UTF has been added. (Note. (Note that some pages with a mixture of traditional and simplified Chinese characters will still be garbled after the correction.)
• The tooltip for the third page display selection was set to "Dictionary".
• In the print preview, when changing pages, the last line of the previous page and the first line of the next page are now the same.
• Fixed an inability to remember the handling of periods and spaces in the Chinese-Japanese and Japanese-Chinese sentence separator settings in the Preferences.
• Fixed a problem in which a blank space would appear after a character with a tone symbol when displaying, printing, or previewing voiced Pinyin on the third page on Windows 9x series operating systems.
• Fixed a problem in which Chinese characters were printed or previewed with a different font than the one specified in the preferences.
• Fixed a problem that prevented Roboword from starting on systems with Windows 2000SP4 Rollup 1 installed.

j・Beijing V5 - How to install and use the modified version

1. Click [Start Download] of "j・Beijing V5 - Change and Correction File" at the back of this page.

2. Set the download destination to your desktop or a folder "My Documents" where you can easily find it later.
   (Please download the file to your computer and save it. Do not open the file without downloading it.)

3. The file name is initially &QUOT ;jbv5up.exe", so do not change it.

4. When the download of jbv5up.exe is completed, close the Internet Explorer site page.

5. Go to the folder where you saved the downloaded file. (If you downloaded it to your desktop, it is located on your desktop.)

6. Double-click &QUOT ;jbv5up.exe" directly.

7. When you double-click the downloaded jbv5up.exe, a dialog box will appear asking you to specify where to extract the file to, "c:\jbv5m".

8. After specifying the decompression destination, click the OK button to start decompression. jbv5m" folder will be newly created in the C drive.

9. After the decompression is finished, launch Windows Explorer (you can also click on it from My Computer). Open the newly created "jbv5m" folder on the C drive.

10. In the "jbv5m" folder, click on the Setup.exe

11. j・Beijing (China)V5-Change/Modification File installer will start up. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.
