Chinese Writer V6 - How to install and use the modified version
This correction may not work correctly after using Chinese Writer V6 or if Chinese Writer V6 is set to the standard IME.
If Chinese Writer V6 is set to the standard IME, please set MS-IME, ATOK or other IMEs to the standard Please set the IME to the standard IME.

1. Create a folder to download the Chinese Writer V6 difference files using Explorer or other programs.
   Here, the folder name is "CWV6".

2. Click "Start Download" under "Chinese Writer V6 - Change/Correction Files" at the back of this page.

3. Set the download destination to the created folder "CWV6".

4. The file name is initially &QUOT ;cwv6.exe", so do not change it.

5. After downloading cwv6.exe, double-click the downloaded file &QUOT ;cwv6.exe" directly from Explorer, etc. Click on the ""cwv6.exe"" button.

6. Double-click the downloaded cwv6.exe file, and a dialog box will appear asking you to specify where to extract the file.

7. After specifying the decompression destination, click the OK button to start decompression.

8. After the decompression is completed, restart Windows.

9. After restarting Windows, if you have registered the Chinese-Japanese dictionary lookup in the Startup menu, right-click the "Chinese-Japanese" dictionary lookup icon on the taskbar and click "Close".
   If other utilities of Chinese Writer V6 are running, close them all.
   If the IME switches to the Chinese Writer V6 IME even once after restarting, please start over from the restart in step 8.

10. After confirming that all utilities of Chinese Writer V6, such as the Chinese-Japanese/Chinese-Japanese dictionary lookup, are closed, launch Explorer, etc. and double-click Setup.exe in "CWV6".

11. The Chinese Writer V6 installer will launch. Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.

1. After the installation of the above correction module is successfully completed, restart Windows.

2. Start Excel, open Tools→User Preferences→Toolbar, and delete Language Selector if it has been registered.

3. Quit Excel.

4. Open the Chinese Writer installation folder (default value C:\chnwrtv6 ) and open the Excel Language Selector folder in the installation folder.

5. Double-click Setup.exe in the Excel Language Selector folder. Double-click on Setup.exe in the Excel Language Selector folder to start the installation of Language Selector for Excel.
   Follow the on-screen instructions to proceed with the installation.
