- Fixed a problem in which Handwriting Input would not start and the launched application would terminate abnormally if the driver for the tablet of some WACOM FAVO series devices was installed.
- When a driver for a tablet is installed, regardless of whether a tablet is connected or not, the handwriting input does not start and the entire launched application terminates abnormally. The program has been improved so that the handwriting input system can be started. (Please use a dedicated external program to turn on/off the driver disconnection setting.)
- Corresponded to the phenomenon that the OS freezes when clicking Help on the toolbar of the IME invoked from the Bilingual Editor of the j/Beijing series.
- Corrections have been made to alphabetical headings in the "Dictionary of New Business Terms" in the Chinese Digital Multi Dictionary, where they should be capitalized.
- The Word add-in preferences file has been improved. (A mechanism has been prepared to automatically default to the default values when the add-in preference values are abnormal; information on the display of menus and toolbars in the Word basic template is now imported at each startup and deleted when the program exits.)

- Fixed a phenomenon in which Digimar Gadget does not start when ChineseWriter8's Chinese Navi is running.
- Fixed the phenomenon in which Japanese, Chinese, and Pinyin characters are displayed overlapping each other at the top and bottom when the character size in ChineseLetter Navi is set to a certain size or larger.
- When inputting with Chinese Letter Navi, the Japanese IME cannot automatically convert input (Japanese IME starts in the OFF state.) Fixed the phenomenon.
How to download and install
ChineseWriter9 - How to install and use the modified version
- Click the [Start Download] text at the bottom of this page to download the modified module file "cw9up.exe".
- Set the download location to your desktop, where you can easily find it later (My Documents folder). (You can also use the "My Documents" folder.)
*Download the file once to your computer and save it. Do not open the file without downloading. *Do not change the file name from the default value.
- When you have finished downloading the correction module file, close the page of the site that your browser is displaying.
- Go to the folder where you saved the downloaded file.
*If you downloaded the file to your desktop, it is located on your desktop.
- Double-click the downloaded file "cw9up.exe" directly to start the installation program for updating the ChineseWriter9 program.
- After the installation program starts, follow the on-screen instructions and click the "Next" button to proceed with the installation.
- After installation, click [Start]-[All Programs]-[ChineseWriter9]-[Check for the latest program] and the "Current Version" will be updated to the latest version. The "Current Version" has been updated to the latest version.
