Please make sure that ChineseWriter 10 is installed first.

If you have updated the software by selecting [Start] - [All Programs] - [ChineseWriter10] - [Support Tools] - [Check for the latest program], you do not need to download the correction modules from this page.

ChineseWriter10 - How to Install and Use the Corrected Version

1. Click the [Start Download] text at the bottom of this page to download the modified module file "cw10up.exe".
2. Set the download location to your desktop, where you can easily find it later (My Documents folder). (You can also use the "My Documents" folder.)
   *Download the file once to your computer and save it. Do not open the file without downloading.
   *Do not change the file name from the default value.
3. When you have finished downloading the correction module file, close the page of the site that your browser is displaying.
4. Go to the folder where you saved the downloaded file.
   *If you downloaded the file to your desktop, it is located on your desktop.
5. Double-click the downloaded file "cw10up.exe" directly to start the installation program for updating the ChineseWriter 10 program.
6. After the installation program starts, follow the on-screen instructions and click the "Next" button to proceed with the installation.
7. After installation, click [Start] - [All Programs] - [ChineseWriter10] - [Support Tools] - [Check for latest program]. The "Current Version" has been updated to the latest version.
