Our company handles a variety of foreign languages.

Naturally, many of our employees and their surroundings are non-Japanese.

We heard from such people who are not native speakers of Japanese,

Here are some funny Japanese expressions that I heard from people who are not native Japanese speakers.

"Does this fish have moles?"

Apparently, they are talking about scales.

I did not correct them, but I was not surprised to hear that the two words were not similar.

I think it would be churlish not to correct him at that moment, but to simply say, "No, I don't have any..." and spin the next phrase.
