A Takadensha employee's travelogue "A plane broke down and we were dropped off at an unknown location..."

This time, in connection with airports, I would like to share with you, "The plane broke down and I was dropped off at an unknown location..." I'd like to share with you the following story.

During my trip from Turkey to Dubai to Malaysia to Japan, after boarding in Dubai, I was told to wait for a while in the plane because maintenance was taking time.

I was chatting with my friends for about 3 hours, but after 4 hours, other passengers started to get upset, and after 6 hours, an announcement was made, "Please get off the plane once." After 6 hours, an announcement was made, "Please get off the plane. Please stay overnight in Dubai. Please stay overnight in Dubai. The plane was not able to fly.

At the time, I and three of my friends had no idea where Dubai was in the world or what kind of country it was, and we imagined it was a dangerous place in the Middle East! We were let off the plane with our own imagination. When we entered the terminal building, we were met by a police officer with a large rifle? A guard? We were taken by a guard with a big rifle and headed for immigration. For some reason, they took my passport from me, put me on a bus, and took me to the hotel.
The next day, I was in trouble again, and at that time, it was really scary. Now I would have thought, "Dubai! Luxury resort! A paradise in the desert!" But at that time, Dubai was still a minor city, and I was in a continuous cold sweat.

When you travel or go on a business trip abroad, you never know when the plane will break down or when you will be dropped off at a different location.
We recommend that you carry a minimum of underwear, contact lenses, cash, and credit cards in your carry-on luggage.
Also, at the hotel provided by the airline, I was so happy with the rare Middle Eastern juices and unusual snacks that I ate them all and ended up being charged 8,000 yen.
Beware of the refrigerator!
