Inspired by the Pyeongchang Olympics, I went skating..!

February has arrived and the 4th of this month is Risshun, or the first day of spring according to the calendar (*^_^*).
However, the cold days are still continuing.

But in Kochi Prefecture, where I am from, the plum blossoms are already in full bloom.
plum blossoms have already begun to bloom, heralding the early arrival of spring.
I am looking forward to the coming of spring, as I know that they will bloom all at once as the temperature rises and the warm days continue.
I can hardly wait for spring to arrive!

Also, the Winter Olympics were held in Pyeongchang, South Korea on the 9th!
I have been moved and encouraged by the athletes' performance in the games.

In reference to skating, which is one of the competitions, I would like to write about my first experience of ice skating.
The other day, I experienced ice skating for the first time in my life.
I had no idea that skating on ice was so difficult!
I couldn't skate by myself because I was too busy standing up.

Since then, every time I watch a speed skating or figure skating competition on ice
I have been impressed more and more every time I watch ice-skating competitions.
