We went to Taiwan for an external training program!

Since the beginning of the year, Kohdensha has been training in Taiwan as part of our external training program!
We went to Taiwan for 3 days and 2 nights for sightseeing, cultural experience, gourmet food, and to test our Chinese language skills in the real place.
It was a valuable experience that we cannot have in Japan.

The most memorable experience for me was the sky lantern lighting in Sifen.
It is a traditional Taiwanese event that began when people flew Chinese lanterns into the sky to pray to their ancestors for peace and blessings.

The sight of sky lanterns with wishes written on them soaring into the sky was very fantastic and moving.

We also went sightseeing in the famous Jiufen, which is said to be the setting of the movie "Spirited Away."
We also experienced Taiwanese tea and tasted authentic Taiwanese small basket lunches.
It was a trip that will remain in our memories for a lifetime!
