Workaround

Uninstalling ChineseWriter8 MASTER will delete your "Learning Record".

If you want to transfer the "Learning Record" of ChineseWriter8 MASTER to ChineseWriter9 MASTER, save "TangoDat" in [My Computer] - [Program Files] - [KODENSHA] - [ChineseWriter8] to My Documents as a backup. My Computer] - [Program Files] - [KODENSHA] - [ChineseWriter8] and save it to My Documents as a backup.

After the installation of ChineseWriter9 MASTER is completed, save "TangoRec.dat" in the "TangoDat " saved above to C:\[Documents and Settings]-[User Name]-[My Documents]-[ChineseWriter9 Paste it into the [ChineseWriter9] folder and overwrite it.

For instructions on how to uninstall ChineseWriter8 MASTER, please refer to p.19 of the ChineseWriter8 manual.

In principle, Kodensha recommends that you uninstall all previous versions before installing the new version.
