Q & A

Q. The CD-ROM I have is old. Is it OK to install on Windows 7 (64bit/32bit) with this CD-ROM?
A. If the CD-ROM is "○" in the table below, it can be used. By applying the latest program, it is compatible with Windows 7 (64bit/32bit).

Q. I don't know whether my computer is 64-bit or 32-bit.
A. In Windows 7, right-click on Start < Computer and left-click on Properties (R) to display the System.
Under "System Type," you will see either 32-bit operating system or 64-bit operating system, so you can check
which OS you are using.

Q. What are 32-bit and 64-bit applications?
A. Some applications, such as Internet Explorer 8, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, exist in two versions, such as 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
For example, there are many cases where a user has a 64-bit PC, but uses the 32-bit version of Word.
You can check whether the application you are using is a 32-bit or 64-bit version by referring to the version information in the help file.

■About the Walker Series
Some of the Walker Series products modify the contents of the SD card while using the Recovery CD while the PC and the device are connected.
In 7, the connection is made by Windows Mobile Device Center instead of ActiveSync.
Please check with your device manufacturer to see if your device can be connected to Windows 7.
